These three photos are taken from Salvador Benedicto, on the road from Bacolod on the west side of Negros Occidental to San Carlos City on the east side. The other two photos show a beautiful and mysterious group of mountains, a waterfall tumbling over one cliff.

The counterpoint of a tall volcano that dominates the landscape and these lush mountains reminds me of Maui, where Haleakala towers above the island and faces, across the plain, the mysterious West Maui Mountains.
